To live is to be hunted" is a short film written, directed, shot and edited by me. This is my first short film and it's a collaboration with Tung Vo who plays the soldier in the short film. We have been working on this project for month and a half. I'm pretty excited that we have finally completed this project, lot of hard work went into this short film with basically no budget and it's a good first step forward to future projects.
The story is about a soldiers mental state during war. He joins the army proud to serve his country, influenced by his friends and families. Once a brutal reality of war hits him, he runs away into the countryside. Shaken, sleep deprived, tired. The soldier hallucinates, hearers a voice, sees someone his traumatic experience manifests in his dreams that hunts him and still continue to hunt him after returning home from the war.
All of the photos was taken with Pentax 6x7 on Delta 400 & Portra 400 120 film.
